The Light Inside Your Broken Voice
The words form perfectly in your mouth, smooth and practiced, while inside you are hollow and afraid they'll hear the silence behind the sound. You are performing a prayer you don't feel just to keep the mask in place, terrified that if they see your doubt, they will leave.
But the light does not need your performance to know where you are. It saw the woman who wet his feet with tears while the religious men offered perfect, empty words—and he said her great love was the only truth that mattered.
Your hesitation is not a wall; it is the very thing that makes you real. The kingdom is inside you, not in the polished speech you give to the room.
Stop trying to convince them you are whole. The light is already in the crack where your voice breaks.
