Stop Apologizing For Your Glow
It is three in the morning, and the silence is heavy enough to feel. You caught yourself today shrinking your voice in a crowded room, not because you were afraid of them, but because you were tired of being the only one holding the light.
You dimmed yourself to make the darkness comfortable. But listen — the light you carry was never meant to be hidden under a bowl or a bed.
It was placed inside you to shine, to light up the whole world, even if you are the only one awake enough to see it yet. There is light within a person of light, and if it does not shine, it is dark.
You do not have to bring forth something new to be saved; you only have to stop burying what is already there. The exhaustion you feel is the weight of suppressing your own nature.
Stop apologizing for the glow. The room may be quiet, but the light is loud enough to wake the dead.
