Loved in the Breaking
The afternoon light is unforgiving; it shows the dust on every surface and the crack in every mask. You offered an excuse today, a smooth story to cover the tremor in your hands, and for a second, you prayed they would believe it.
Because if they believe the lie, they won't see the break. But the light does not need your performance to love you.
It sees the fracture and calls it the place where the glory will shine. You came from the light, and to it you will return, regardless of the stories you tell to get through the day.
The truth is not a weight you carry; it is the ground beneath you that holds you even when you stumble. Stop trying to convince the world you are whole when the light already knows you are loved in the breaking.
