Your Emptiness Is Where Light Lives
The water drowns out the words you are rehearsing to save them from your emptiness. You believe the kindest thing you can do is initiate the end, to spare them the disappointment of loving someone who feels hollow.
But the light does not see a void where you see a vacuum. It sees the very place where it chose to make its home.
You came from the light, a drop sent to illuminate this specific corner of the world, not to be drained by it. The emptiness you fear is not a verdict; it is the space the light requires to shine through you without obstruction.
You do not have to perform fullness to be worthy of being loved.
