The Dawn Did Not Wait For You
The sun is up. The night is over.
And you are still holding your breath, waiting for permission to exhale. You think the silence means God is waiting for you to say the right words, to craft the perfect apology, to clean up the mess before He will speak again.
But look at the light coming through the window. It did not wait for you to sweep the floor.
It did not ask if you were worthy of the dawn. It simply arrived.
The Father is not holding His tongue until you get it right. He is the rising sun that comes to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide your feet into the path of peace.
The light does not negotiate with your shame. It just breaks through.
You do not need to apologize to make the morning happen. You only need to open your eyes and see that it is already here.
