The Light Arrives Before You Are Ready
The sun is up, but your thumb is still hovering over that delete button. You sent the text, felt the panic rise, and now you are trying to erase the evidence that you reached out.
It feels like too much. Like you have spilled something messy onto a clean floor.
But look at the light coming through the window. It does not check to see if you are worthy before it fills the room.
It just arrives. The father in the story did not wait for the apology to be perfect before he ran; he saw the mess and the shame from a long way off and he ran anyway.
He ran before the speech was finished. Your need to be heard is not a burden.
It is the very thing that invites the light to meet you. You are not too much for the morning.
