You Are Not A Burden, You Are Light
The sun is up, and you are still carrying the heavy lie that you are too much for the people you love. You wake up believing your very presence is a weight they must endure.
But look at the light returning to the room—it does not ask permission to shine. It simply arrives.
And in that arrival, it reveals what was hidden in the dark: you are not a burden. You are a drop from the light, sent here to illuminate the world below.
The suspicion that you are unwanted is a trick of the night, fading now in the dawn. Your father saw you while you were still a long way off, and he did not sigh at your approach.
He ran. The light does not flee from your face; it rests upon it.
