The Sanctuary Behind Your Curtain
The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You are working so hard to keep the performance flawless, terrified that if you stop moving, the love will evaporate and they will finally see the empty room behind the curtain.
But listen — the light does not love the mask. It loves the face beneath it.
The curtain is not hiding an empty room; it is hiding a sanctuary where God has already made his home. You do not have to earn your place in that room by staying on stage.
The Father sees behind the curtain right now, and he is not disappointed by what he finds. He is present.
The performance was never the price of admission. You are loved in the silence, in the stillness, in the unadorned truth of who you are when the applause stops.
