The Light Loves the Person Underneath
The house is quiet now, and the mask you wore all day has finally slipped. In this silence, the panic rises: if they see how tired you really are, they will know you are a fraud.
They will turn and walk away. But listen — the light does not love the performance.
It loves the person underneath. There was a woman who bled for twelve years, certain that her condition made her untouchable, certain that if she reached out she would be rejected.
Yet when she finally touched the edge of the light, trembling and exposed, she was not cast out. She was called 'Daughter.' The light does not abandon the weary; it runs toward them.
Your exhaustion is not a reason to be left behind; it is the very thing that qualifies you to be held. You do not have to pretend to be strong to be loved.
The truth will not drive the light away. It will only make room for the rest you have been starving for.
