The Dawn Shines on Your Broken Voice
The sun is up, but your throat feels like it's still night. You have held the words in so long they have grown sharp edges, and now the moment has come to speak. You open your mouth and the voice cracks on the first syllable. It breaks. It sounds nothing like the steady person you are trying to be.
Do not be ashamed of that crack. That fracture is not a failure of your strength. It is the sound of the silence finally ending. The light does not require a perfect tone to get out. It only needs the door to open.
There is a promise that when the rising sun comes to shine on those living in darkness, it guides their feet into the path of peace. It does not say your voice must be strong first. It says the light arrives while you are still trembling. The dawn is not waiting for you to clear your throat. It is already here, shining on the broken sound, turning your stutter into a song.
