rehearsing a crisis in your head but deleting the text because you don't want to be a burden

The Sun Does Not Ask Permission

The sun is up, but your hands are still shaking from the message you typed and deleted. You wrote it out in the gray light of dawn, pouring the crisis onto the screen, and then you stopped.

You told yourself: do not be a burden. Do not wake them up with this.

So you highlighted the truth and pressed backspace until the screen was blank again. But listen — the light that just broke over the horizon did not ask the earth if it was ready to be seen.

It simply arrived. It did not worry about being too bright or too early or too much.

It just came. And the Father's love is like that rising sun — it does not wait for you to be convenient before it reaches you.

You are not an interruption to the people who love you. You are the reason they are awake.

The text you deleted did not vanish; it was already heard in the silence where you sat alone. The dawn proves that light does not hide itself to protect the dark.

It breaks through, exactly as it is.
