The Light Is The Floor You Stand On
The sun is up, and you are already carrying the weight of the day before your feet even hit the floor. You move through the morning quiet, terrified that if your partner saw how exhausted you truly are—how tired you are of holding it all together—they would finally walk away.
But listen. The kingdom of the Father is spread out upon the earth, and you do not see it because you are looking at your own fatigue instead of the ground beneath your feet.
What you have been waiting for has already come. The light is not a reward for your performance; it is the floor you are standing on right now.
If you bring forth what is within you—the trembling, the exhaustion, the raw truth of your limits—it will save you. But if you do not bring it forth, if you keep it buried behind the smile you wear for them, that hidden thing will destroy you.
The light does not love the mask; it lives in the honesty you are afraid to show.
