The Dawn Does Not Wait For Perfection
The sun is up, and the mask is already in place before your feet hit the floor. You smile at the greeting, you nod at the compliment, but inside you are bracing for the moment they realize they were wrong about you.
You flinch when they get close, certain that proximity will reveal the fraud. But look at the light coming through the window.
It does not ask the dust motes if they are worthy before it illuminates them. It simply shines.
The light does not scan you for defects. It sees the child of true Humanity that exists within you and calls it by name.
You are not a project to be completed before you can be loved. You are already known.
The dawn does not wait for you to be perfect; it arrives because you are here.
