You Are Not Lost Because They Are

The sun is setting, and the house feels different now that the voices have lowered. You caught a glimpse of it today—the moment you realized they don't actually know the way either.

They are just guessing, stumbling through the dark the same way you are. That realization lands heavy, like a stone dropping into a well you thought was bottomless.

But listen. The light does not require a perfect guide to shine.

It was there before they started guessing, and it remains when they admit they are lost. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.

You are not waiting for them to turn on a lamp you cannot reach. You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord.
