You Are Already Home
The house is quiet, but the noise in your head is deafening. You are waiting for the moment they finally see through the mask and ask for the love back.
You feel like a fraud who has tricked them into caring. In this deepest hour, the darkness feels like it has won.
But the light does not operate on your performance. It does not leave when the act drops.
God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. And if you walk in that light, you have fellowship—not because you are perfect, but because you are present.
You are not holding onto love by your own grip. You are being held.
The one who knows every hidden thing is not reaching out to reclaim what was given. The love you received was not a loan.
It was a gift. Stop waiting for the eviction notice.
You are already home.
