The Dawn Is Not A Verdict
The sun is rising, and you are still lying there, rehearsing a casual apology for having been too heavy. You are terrified that your honesty ruined the room, that you showed too much and broke something that cannot be fixed.
But look at the light coming through the window. It does not wait for you to be lighter before it enters.
It does not ask you to edit your shadows before it touches the floor. The rising sun comes to shine on those living in darkness, not to scold them for being there.
You did not ruin the room. You simply let the light in, and sometimes that feels like too much for eyes accustomed to the dark.
The dawn is not a verdict on your night; it is an invitation to begin again, exactly as you are. Your honesty was not a mistake; it was the first step out of the shadow.
