The Dawn Arrives Without Conditions
The sun is rising, and for a moment, the light is just a color on the wall before it becomes warmth. You are holding your breath over a phone screen, waiting for words that have always meant the ground falling out from under you.
'We need to talk.' Your body remembers the withdrawal. It remembers the silence that followed.
But the dawn does not wait for you to be brave before it arrives. It comes anyway.
It touches the fear without trying to fix it. There is a love that does not begin with a condition or end with a threat.
It is already here, sitting on the edge of the bed with you. You do not have to earn the right to see the morning.
The light shines on the trembling hand just as it shines on the steady one. The day is not a test you might fail.
It is a gift you are allowed to receive.
