The Light Loves You Because You Are
The mask is heavy this morning. You are working so hard to be the one who fixes everything, terrified that if you stop, they will see the emptiness and walk away.
But the light does not love you for your utility. It loves you because you are there.
There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off — broken, empty, with nothing left to give. He did not wait for the work to be done.
He ran. Before the apology, before the promise to do better — he ran.
The light sees behind the performance. It knows the exhaustion you carry.
You do not have to earn your place at the table by serving everyone else. Your emptiness is not a reason for them to leave.
It is the very place where the light fills you up. Stop fixing.
Just be. The love was already there before you lifted a finger.
