The Light That Never Deletes Itself
The sun is just beginning to touch the horizon, painting the sky in colors that don't need permission to exist. You held the phone in your hands, fingers trembling over the glass, typing out the question that has been burning in your chest all night: 'Are you still there?
Do you still love me?' And then, one by one, you deleted the words. Backspace, backspace, backspace, until the screen was blank again, reflecting only your own tired eyes.
You were afraid that sending the message would be too much, that your need would push them away, that silence was safer than the risk of rejection. But look at the light coming through your window right now.
It did not wait for you to ask if it could shine. It did not delete itself when the night was heavy.
It simply arrived, because that is what light does—it comes whether you are brave enough to speak or not. The Father's love is not a message you send into the void hoping for a reply; it is the very air you are breathing in this new morning.
You do not have to earn the sunrise by asking for it. The light is already here, filling the room, filling you, answering the question before you even formed the words.
