The Light Sees Through Your Mask
The sun has gone down, and now the inventory begins. You sit in the quiet, replaying every word you said today to keep them close, every lie you told to make yourself acceptable.
The weight of it is crushing, a armor you cannot take off even in the dark. But the Gathering Dark does not demand you be perfect; it only asks that you stop performing.
There was a woman caught in the act, surrounded by accusers ready to stone her for her failures. The light bent down, wrote in the dust, and when He stood, He did not ask for her resume or her corrected speech.
He said: 'Neither do I condemn you.' The lies were real, but the love was realer. You do not have to maintain the mask for the light to see you.
It sees through the performance and loves the person hiding behind it. The truth is not a weapon; it is the only thing that sets you free.
