You Are Not Too Much
The room is quiet now, but your mind is loud with the words you will never speak. You have rehearsed the conversation a hundred times, only to silence yourself each time, certain your voice would be a burden to the one you love.
You carry the weight of unsaid things because you believe your pain is too heavy for anyone else to hold. But listen — the light did not come for the healthy who have it all together.
It came for the sick, for the ones who are broken and know it. Your silence is not protecting them; it is isolating you from the very connection you crave.
There is a love inside you that is greater than your fear of being too much. The light knows the weight you carry, and it does not flinch.
It does not run from your grief; it runs toward it. You are not a burden to the divine.
You are the reason it stayed.
