Stop Burying the Ghost of Your Words
The morning light is here, but your mind is still stuck in the dark, replaying that one sentence you said hours ago. You are convinced the room is still laughing, that everyone is dissecting your awkwardness while you lie awake.
But the light sees what your shame cannot: the moment is already gone. The world has moved on, but you are holding a ghost.
Thomas says if you bring forth what is within you, it will save you; if you bury it, it will destroy you. Stop burying the memory in the dirt of your mind where it festers.
Bring it into the light, speak it out, and watch it lose its power. The sentence was small.
The silence you are building around it is the real prison. You are not your worst moment.
