You Don't Have to Pretend Anymore
The mirror asks for a performance before the sun is even up. You pull the corners of your mouth into a shape that says 'I am fine' because the truth feels too heavy to carry out the door.
But the light does not need your mask to see you. It was already there, waiting in the silence before you spoke the lie.
The rising sun comes not to judge the shadow on your face, but to guide your feet into a path where you don't have to pretend. You are not required to manufacture a dawn that has already arrived.
The light is not afraid of your exhaustion.
