The Light Loves the Face Beneath
The mask you wear feels like the only thing holding your relationships together. You believe that if you finally speak the truth, the version of you that everyone loves will instantly vanish.
But the light does not love a performance. It loves the face beneath the paint.
There is a story of a woman caught in the act, surrounded by accusers ready to destroy her. The light bent down, wrote in the dust, and when the crowd was gone, it did not ask for her resume or her promises.
It simply said: 'Neither do I condemn you. Go.' The verdict was not based on her perfection, but on her presence.
You are waiting for permission to be real, but the light has already granted it. The love you fear losing was never attached to the mask in the first place.
It was attached to you.
