Love Is Not A Ledger Of Your Performance
The day ends and the armor comes off, leaving you alone with the silence you fear is filled with their resentment. You watch them move through the rooms you built together, convinced your absence is a weight they are quietly carrying.
But listen — the light that lives in you did not arrive because you were useful, and it will not leave because you are tired. It came from the light, a place where it generated itself, and it established its home in you before you ever spoke a vow.
Your partner's love is not a ledger of your participation; it is a recognition of the drop of divine light that you are, even when you have nothing left to give. You do not need to perform wholeness to be held by the one who sits beside you.
The panic says you are failing them; the truth says you are simply human, and that is enough.
