The afternoon sun is heavy, and the voice in your head says that stopping means failing. It whispers that if you sit down, the people who need you will walk away, leaving you behind for your laziness.
But the light does not measure your worth by how much you produce before the sun sets. There is light within you, and it lights up the whole world even when you are still.
If it does not shine in this moment, it is not because you are broken—it is because you are human. You came from the light, the place where it generates itself without effort, and you cannot out-run your own origin.
Rest is not the enemy of love; it is the soil where love grows back.
