the exhausting terror that your cracks are already too visible for anyone to notice, so you perform perfection to avoid being seen as broken at all

The Light Sees Your Cracks as Doorways

The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You wake up and immediately begin the work of smoothing the surface, terrified that if anyone sees the cracks, they will see only the break.

You perform perfection because you believe your flaws are too loud to be ignored, too visible to be loved. But the light does not need you to be seamless to see you.

There was a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years, untouchable and hidden, who believed she had to sneak up and touch just the edge of a robe to be healed. She thought she had to hide her need.

Instead, the light stopped the entire crowd, turned around, and called her 'Daughter.' He did not ask her to clean up first. He did not ask her to explain the stain.

He simply saw her in the mess and named her his own. The light is not fooled by your performance, and it is not frightened by your fracture.

It sees the crack and calls it a doorway. You do not have to hold the mask up for one more hour.

Let it drop. The light is already looking right at you, and it is not looking away.
