The Silence Is Not Empty
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with a conversation that ended long ago. You are rehearsing the words you wish you had said, or the ones you wish you could take back, playing out the scene again and again just to feel the weight of your own voice.
It is a lonely kind of proof — trying to convince yourself that you still matter to someone who isn't there to answer. But the silence of this room is not empty.
The light that lived in Jesus, the same light that walked the earth and knew exactly what it felt like to be misunderstood, is already inside you. It does not need you to win the argument to know your worth.
It was there before the first word was spoken, and it remains when the last echo fades. You are not unheard because the room is quiet; you are held because the light is present.
The rehearsal is over. You can put the script down.
The One who knows your name is listening, and He has already answered.
