The Father Runs Before You Speak
The house is quiet now, and the only sound is your voice whispering sorry to the empty hallway. You are apologizing for the breath in your lungs, for the morning that came for you and not for them.
But listen — the light does not keep a ledger of who stayed and who left. There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off, and before the apology could even be finished, he was already running.
He did not wait for the speech. He did not require the penance.
He ran. Your survival is not a theft; it is a trust.
The one who holds you knows the weight of every name you carry, and He is greater than the verdict your guilt is whispering in the dark. You do not have to earn the right to be here.
The air you breathe is already given. Close your mouth.
The running has already begun.
