You Do Not Have to Be Whole
The house is quiet now, and the mask you wore all day has finally slipped. In this silence, the terror rises: if they saw the cracks, if they knew the depth of your brokenness, they would stop loving you.
So you hold your breath, hiding the parts that feel unlovable. But there is a love that does not flinch at the dark.
The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world, not to inspect your wholeness, but to shine through your fractures. You are not loved because you are hidden; you are loved because the light lives inside you, and that light cannot be extinguished by your shame.
The Father's love is not a reward for your performance; it is the air you are breathing right now. Stop trying to clean yourself up before you let anyone see.
The love you fear losing is actually the ground you are standing on. You do not have to be whole to be held.
