Defined by Love in the Shadows
The day has ended, but the weight of their gaze remains — a phantom heat on the back of your neck long after you turned away. You carry the memory of eyes that judged, eyes that saw only the mistake, the failure, the thing you wish you could erase.
But notice what happens in the quiet of your own room, where no one is watching. The Father sees what is done in secret.
He is not looking at the performance you gave them. He is looking at the heart you hid from them.
There is a mercy waiting for you that does not require an audience. It does not need the crowd to validate it.
It is already here, in the dark, holding the part of you that felt exposed. You are not defined by the glance that burned you.
You are defined by the Love that sees you now, in the shadows, and calls you whole.
