The Light Knows Your Secret Script
Tonight, the mask feels heavy because you are smiling while rehearsing a confession in the dark. You are terrified that if they saw the real you, the praise would turn to stone.
But the light does not need your performance to find you. It sees what is done in secret, and it is not shocked by what you are hiding.
There is a version of you that exists before the apology, before the explanation, before the shame arrives. The light already knows the script you are rehearsing, and it is not running away.
You are not fooling anyone who matters. The panic says you must be perfect to be loved.
The truth says you are known, and you are still here.
