Resting When the Dots Appear
The cursor blinks. Three dots appear.
And suddenly the silence you just broke feels like a debt you cannot pay. You typed the words when you were alone, but now that someone is waiting, the mask slips back into place.
You feel you must perform a version of yourself that can sustain this. But the light does not need you to be impressive.
It only needs you to be present. Jesus said, 'My peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.' The world gives based on performance. The light gives based on presence.
You do not have to hold the connection together. The One who is already in you is holding it.
The dots are not a test. They are an invitation to rest in what is already there.
