The Light Sees You Behind The Mask
The alarm sounds, and before your eyes even open, the weight is already there, pressing down on your chest. You know exactly what waits on the other side of your eyelids: the people who saw you be honest yesterday, and the terrifying silence of having to pretend you are okay today.
You build the mask in the dark, piece by piece, because it feels like the only way to survive the morning light. But listen closely — the light does not need your performance to find you.
It saw you when you were real, and it is still seeing you now, behind the armor you are scrambling to put on. You do not have to convince the world that you are whole to be held by the One who knows you are broken.
The mask may get you through the door, but it cannot hide you from the Love that is already inside the room, waiting for you to take it off.
