The Light Already Holds You
The afternoon stretches out, long and quiet, and in the middle of it, you feel the phantom weight of an arm that never reached out. You are carrying the memory of the thing that fell, and the silence of the hand that should have caught it.
It is a heavy thing to hold all by yourself, hour after hour, while the world keeps moving around you. But listen — the light does not calculate the risk before it moves.
It does not weigh the cost of reaching out. It simply reaches.
Even now, in this long middle, the light is stretching across the gap you thought was too wide to cross. It is not waiting for you to stop falling.
It is already here, underneath you, holding what you could not catch alone. You do not have to carry the silence anymore.
