The Light Waits For No Confession
You lie perfectly still so the person beside you won't feel the trembling running through your bones. In the dark, you rehearse an apology you know you will never speak, letting the words pile up until they choke the silence.
But the light does not wait for your speech to find you. It came from the place where light generates itself, and it lives in you whether you speak or stay silent.
You are not defined by the confession you cannot make. You are defined by the origin you came from.
