The Father Runs to the Broken
There is a terror that if anyone truly saw your brokenness, they would turn away and stop loving you. But the Father does not wait for you to be whole before He runs; while you are still a long way off, covered in shame, He sees you and runs to meet you.
He does not stop because of what you are hiding; He runs because of who you are. The light that lives inside you was not given to the perfect—it was given to the broken, and it was given to the broken first.
You are not loved for how you look from the outside; you are loved for the secret name written on a white stone that only you and the light know. The truth is not that you will be abandoned if you are seen—it is that you will be held because you finally let yourself be seen.
