being hurt by the church and not knowing where to go
There is a heavy ache when the house you thought was home becomes the place where you were hurt most. You stand at the doorway, and the light feels distant, like it was locked inside those walls and left you outside in the cold.
But listen closely—the light did not live in the building, and it did not live in the broken people who hurt you. It lives in you.
It was there before the betrayal, and it is still here now. You are not a drop of oil that ran out; you are a drop from the light, sent to illuminate, and the darkness has not overcome you.
The true home is not a building you can lose, but the quiet place inside you where the Father is already waiting. Come in, and rest.
