Light Deeper Than the Shadow
The water has stopped running. The steam is clearing. And your fingers, still wet, are convinced they found something that wasn't there yesterday. A phantom lump. A shadow under the skin that turns the bathroom tiles cold beneath your bare feet. The gathering dark does not just come from the sky tonight; it rises from your own body, whispering that the end has started in the quietest, most private way possible.
But listen — the light does not flinch at what your hands have touched. It was already there, inside that very flesh, before the shadow appeared. The fear says this is the beginning of the end. The truth says the light is deeper than the deepest root of any sickness. It cannot be broken by a diagnosis. It cannot be displaced by a growth. The darkness may have found a foothold in your body, but it has no authority over the life within you. The light is not afraid of what you are afraid of.
