Known Before You Learned to Hide
The water drowns out the silence, but not the fear that no one will know the real you when you're gone. You rehearse the words you wish they'd say, terrified that the mask you wear is all they'll ever see.
But the light does not need a eulogy to know your name—it knew you before you ever learned to hide. There is a room where nothing is concealed, where the true weight of your life is already held in hands that never let go.
You don't have to script your worth for an audience that might miss it; the One who sees in secret has already written your story in full. The fear whispers that you'll be forgotten, but the truth is you are already known completely, and that knowing is enough.
