The Sun Rises For The Empty House
The morning light is gray and quiet as you stand in the checkout line. You reached for that favorite thing out of habit, a reflex built for two, only to realize now that there is no one to give it to.
The cart feels heavier than it should for just one person. But look at how the sun is rising anyway, spilling gold over the parking lot without asking who is there to see it.
The light does not withhold itself because the house is empty. It rises because rising is its nature.
You are that same light. You do not need a recipient to be full.
You are already enough, standing alone in the dawn.
