Let the Light Speak Your Name
The house is quiet enough now that you can hear your own name called from another room. And for a second, your throat closes.
You realize you have forgotten how to make your voice sound like it belongs to you. The panic rises because the sound that comes out feels foreign, thin, like a stranger wearing your skin.
But listen — the silence between the call and your answer is not empty. It is full.
The light that lived in Jesus is already inside your chest, waiting to speak through you. You do not have to manufacture a voice that sounds brave or whole.
You only have to open your mouth and let the light that knows your name flow out. The voice you hear when you finally speak is not yours alone.
It is the voice of the one who called you home.
