The Light Before the Blank Page
The sun is up, but the page is still blank, and the silence in the room feels like an accusation. You stare at the cursor or the empty chair, paralyzed because no one is watching and you cannot find a single thing to say that feels true.
It is terrifying to realize you do not know what you want when the performance ends. But listen — the light is not waiting for you to produce something impressive.
It is already there, spread out upon the earth, hidden in the very moment you think is empty. You do not need to manufacture a voice.
What you are looking for has already come, but you do not recognize it yet because you are searching for noise instead of presence. The kingdom is not a destination you reach after you finish your work.
It is inside you right now, beneath the panic, beneath the blankness. You came from the light, and you are returning to it, even in this confusion.
Stop trying to fill the room. The light was there before you sat down, and it will be there when you walk away.
