The Light Shines In The Empty Room
The sun is up, the coffee is hot, and the world is asking you to perform. You smile at the screen, you type the update, you share the small victory—and then your thumb hovers over the send button.
Because you realize there is no one left who knows the real you. The people who knew your silence, your stumbles, your unpolished heart—they are gone, or distant, or changed.
So you put the phone down. You wear the mask because it is easier than explaining the face beneath it.
But listen—the light does not need an audience to be real. It was shining in you before anyone ever saw it, and it shines still, even in the empty room.
You are not defined by who is watching. You are defined by the One who sees behind the performance and calls you friend.
The victory was never for them; it was for you, and it is already held.
