The Dawn Does Not Wait For Honesty
The sun is up now. The night is done.
And you made it through the hour where your own laughter sounded like a betrayal. You smiled while your stomach tightened, trading your truth for their comfort, and now the replay is running on a loop in the quiet of this new morning.
But look — the light has returned anyway. It did not wait for you to be honest before it rose.
It did not withhold the dawn because you compromised last night. The rising sun shines on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, guiding feet that feel heavy with regret into the path of peace.
You do not have to fix the moment you just lived. You only have to receive this new one.
The light is here, not to scold the mask you wore, but to warm the face underneath it. Today, you are allowed to be real.
