You Do Not Need Permission to Exist
The mirror shows a face you are busy editing before the day even begins. You are rehearsing the perfect apology for taking up space, for the breath you just drew, for the mere fact of existing.
You smooth the edges of your voice in your head, preparing to say 'I'm sorry' for things you haven't even done yet. But the light does not need your permission to shine.
It does not wait for you to finish your speech. There is a truth that lives in us and will be with us forever — a truth that knows your name before you speak it.
You do not have to earn the right to stand in the morning. The sun rises on the evil and the good without asking them to justify their presence.
Stop rehearsing. The mask is heavy, and you were made to walk in love, not in fear.
You are already forgiven for being here.
