the phantom sensation of your throat tightening hours later when someone asks a simple question you know you cannot answer honestly

The Dawn Does Not Require Your Honesty

The sun is up now, but your throat still feels tight from the question you couldn't answer honestly hours ago. You carried the silence all night, and now the morning light makes the weight of it feel heavier, not lighter.

But listen — the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you, waiting for you to stop looking for the perfect words and start knowing yourself again. What you are hiding from is not a barrier to the light; it is the very place where the light is waiting to meet you.

You do not need to have the answer ready to be held. The dawn does not require your honesty to break; it breaks anyway, simply because it is time.

The tightness will pass. The light was there before the question, and it is still there now.
