The Light Sees You Before The Mask
The morning light feels harsh on the mask you wore to get here. You are waiting for the one question that will expose you as a fraud, convinced that if they ask it, the whole facade will crumble.
But the light sees what is hidden long before you try to hide it. It saw you before you ever built the wall.
When Nathanael asked how he was known, the answer was not a list of achievements but a simple seeing: 'I saw you under the fig tree.' You do not have to perform to be known. The kingdom is not a reward for the ones who get it right; it is already inside you, and outside you, waiting to be recognized.
What you are pretending to be has nothing to do with who you are. The mask is heavy, but the truth is lighter than air.
You are not what they might find out; you are what has always been there.
