The Light Calls Your Silence Enough
The sun is up, but your mouth still tastes like the words you couldn't say. They sit in your throat like bile, heavy and sour, long after the moment has passed.
You carried them through the night, and now you carry them into the morning light. But listen — the light does not ask you to swallow that poison.
It rises anyway, gentle and warm, touching your face without demanding an explanation. There is a peace that does not depend on your performance, a rest that waits for you even when your voice fails.
You do not have to force the words out to be held. The light sees the silence, and it calls it enough.
