the paralyzing hesitation before opening an email or voicemail, convinced the message contains the final verdict that will undo everything

You Are the Light That Reads

The sun is up, but your hand is still hovering over the screen. You are convinced that one message holds the final verdict, the words that will undo everything you've built.

But the light of this morning does not read your emails before it touches your face. It simply arrives.

It shines on the fear and the courage alike, without asking which one you feel. There is a voice that spoke your name before you ever opened an inbox, and that voice has already declared you safe.

The message might be hard, but it cannot break the light that is already inside you. You are not what the screen says you are.

You are the light that reads it.
